This policy explains what information Flixwave (flix-wave.co.ke) collects, why we collect it and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account details. If you create an account we store your name, email address and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
• Your lists and activity. Movies and shows you add to My List, and your viewing progress, so we can show them to you when you return.
• Technical data. Like most websites, our server records basic information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited and the time of your visit. We use it to keep the site secure and working well.
• Messages. If you contact us through the contact form or live chat, we keep the content of your message so we can reply.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and to protect forms against misuse. Our live chat and advertising partners may set their own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features, such as signing in, will not work without them.

Third-party services

Movie and TV information and images are provided by The Movie Database (TMDB). Live chat is provided by Tawk.to, and advertising is served by third-party ad networks. These services process data under their own privacy policies. Videos embedded from external players are subject to the policies of those providers.

How we use information

We use your information to run your account, remember your list, improve the site, respond to messages and prevent abuse. We do not sell your personal information.

Keeping your data safe

We use HTTPS encryption across the site and limit access to personal data. No online service can be completely secure, so please use a unique password for your account.

Your choices

You can update or delete your account information at any time by contacting us. We will delete your account and list data on request.

Children

Flixwave is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
